The Bayeux Tapestry from France arrived to London's British Museum on Friday morning. It took months of careful planning to move the 70-m-long embroidery. The tapestry was made by nuns in Canterbury to depict events leading to the Battle of Hastings and the Norman Conquest of England. The transfer has been wielded as a political tool to strengthen French-British diplomatic relations.
