Authentic Brands Group wants to bring Barneys New York back to the exact same building where the flagship opened in 1993. Barneys filed for bankruptcy in 2019. Authentic Brands owns companies such as Brooks Brothers and Sperry. Saks Fifth Ave. had exclusive rights to the Barneys name, but those rights have been released.
